ASAP+ price for each rider includes all the van's gas, maintenance, and insurance. Vanpool riders meet at one or two agreed-upon pick-up points in the morning, hop on the van, and head towards Atlantic Station. While at least one person volunteers to drive the van, most riders enjoy reading, eating breakfast, relaxing, or even taking a quick nap.
The Atlantic Station vanpool program requires NO long-term commitment to participate. Try it for just a month or until the day you retire. It's up to you!

Vanpooling is easier than it appears. Below are just some of the common questions people have regarding joining or starting a vanpool.
1. How many people are in a vanpool?
Atlantic Station vanpools consist of 7-10 people who all live near each other and ride together to work. To accommodate as many people as we can, Atlantic Station is proud to offer a choice of two vans (either a Dodge Caravan or a 12-passenger van).
2. Where does the van pick up in the morning?
ASAP+ treats a vanpool much like a mini-democracy. We let you make the decisions. The van riders decide the best central location for everyone to drive to and leave their cars for the workday as a group. Many vanpool members choose a location such as a local grocery or big-box store. ASAP+ will talk to the owner of the parking lot to gain permission, if needed.
3. What time does the van leave in the morning and return in the evening?
Again, this is completely up to the riders in the van. Vanpool's work best for employees who have routine daily schedules.
4. What happens if I unexpectedly need to leave work during the day or stay after the vanpool departs?
ASAP+ understands that life is unpredictable. We promise to never leave you stranded. When you participate in one of our programs (including vanpooling), you are eligible for free taxi rides home in the case of an emergency. This is called the Guaranteed Ride Home. If you have an emergency or have to work unscheduled overtive, we will send you home in a cab, tip included! This program is completely free to you as an employee in Atlantic Station.
